Shower a new parent-to-be with beautiful children's books by hosting a Barefoot Baby Shower! Picture cute baby bare feet images dancing around beautiful
images from Barefoot Books, your guests and mom-to-be sitting together bare-footed (or not!), laughing and talking, and beautiful Barefoot Books all around! I would love to help you make that image a reality!
How? It's easy! You choose the location, invite the guests, and provide the food. I'll take care of the rest!
Here's how it works:
I'll provide you with a catalog and a wish list form for you to give the parent-to-be ahead of time. She can go through the catalog as well as browse online and then write down the books she's interested in. You get the list from her about two weeks before the shower and give it to me. I'll order all of the books to have at the party, as well as a bunch of other books that I think she and the other guests might be interested in!
On the day of the party, I'll come early and set up a beautiful book display as well as put up colorful bare-feet and book-related decorations. During the party we can team up to facilitate story-related games if you'd like. I'll also do a short book-talk/story time to showcase some of the books that the parent-to-be wishes to have, as well as to highlight some of the other books that I brought along. I'll then step aside while the guests enjoy eating and visiting with one another, making myself available to answer any questions about the books as people peruse them. We'll have the parent-to-be's wish list available for the guests to see, as well as order forms for them to write down the books they would like to purchase. (They can purchase books from the wish list to give to the parent-to-be as well as any books that they would like to purchase for themselves.) I'll process the orders as the guests are ready. At the end of the shower, I'll tally up the orders and will give the parent-to-be 20% of the total amount in free books of her choice!
